Joshua P and Annie Eliza Flynn Henry

Joshua Henry's family employed Annie Flynn to care for his younger brother, Walter. After Walter died at age 19, Annie became part of the family marrying Joshua. Their marriage ended with Joshua's death in 1906. Charles P. Champion also became part of the family when he married Joshua's sister, Caroline.

Champion, as Charles was known to the family was widowed in 1920 and remained friends with Annie. He eventually purchased the duplex at 240th in 1928, to provide a home for Annie. Her son, Harold and his family, lived on the first floor, while Grandma Ann lived on the upper level.
